“Rusatom International Network” and French Nuclear Suppliers Association (GIIN) signed Memorandum of Understanding
The Memorandum of Understanding between Private institution “Rusatom International Network” and French Nuclear Suppliers Association (GIIN) was signed at the Russian-French business breakfast “Nuclear Energy Dialogue: Current State and Prospects" in St. Petersburg on May 25, 2018.
From the Russian side the document was signed by Andrey Rozhdestvin, Regional Vice President of Rosatom Western Europe. Philippe Anglaret, President of the French Nuclear Suppliers Association (GIIN) signed the document from the French side.
The main purpose of the signed document is to enhance the cooperation between Russian and French nuclear industry companies in such areas as the nuclear fuel cycle, decommissioning, maintenance of NPPs of Russian and French design, and equipment supply. In addition, the parties are willing to cooperate in the fields of personnel training and nuclear research reactors development, including International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project.
