ZAMBIA has been urged to take advantage of nuclear technologies to improve its food security and potential to export agricultural produce.
Russian State Nuclear Corporation ROSATOM Central and southern Africa chief executive officer Dmitry Shornikov said in an interview on the sidelines of the Atomexpo, which closed here on Tuesday, that introducing a multifunction irradiation centre in an agricultural hub can contribute significantly to extending of the shelve life of agricultural produce.
